For auction is my 69 454 short bed c10. I love this truck to death, but it's time to build something new. Truck is lowered with spring tech springs, 4 inch drop in the rear, 5 in front. 454 was originally pulled from a 71 chevelle. It is not a tall deck truck block. Has a mild cam and edelbrock carb. Auto tranny, posi rear. Engine is set back a couple of inches, driveshaft was custom tubed and balanced by Gilbert Driveline Specialists. U joints are all new. Sits on vintage MT alloys, and new rubber on all four corners. Front disc brake conversion, rotors could use a turn. Clean, solid undercarriage, solid frame, floors, etc. Roof could use a new skin (dents/filler), but the rest of the body is clean and straight, and I have a roof to go with the truck . Truck has rolled pans front and rear, paint is Hot Rod Flatz primer tone. It is not sitting in primer and soaking up atmospheric moisture. Interior has full gauges, low bomber style seats, and B&M floor shifter. Also has new, modern hot rod wiring harness. Everything works, and genuinely scary-quick. Please email with specific questions... Has long-tube headers and flowmaster 50s. ***Fuel Gauge quit this summer. I was driving it one day and the needle just sank to empty. Haven't really looked into it. Just remembered it was broken as I was stopping for gas in it today.
