So So much to list on this bike. Everything is replaced, improved, custom, OEM, NOS, etc. If you want THE nicest vintage RM250 available this is it. Built to race and win pro class, it works better than it looks. You will sit on this machine and notice immediately how tight everything is; how the suspension sits you nice and high, not like an old sofa the way most old bikes feel...How nice the damping works as you bounce your weight on the seat; How the clutch pull feels like a modern bike, the levers sit just right on the modern-bend ProTapers...The fat, sharp forged pegs grip your boots,... This bike was taken down to the frame and then the question was asked: How bad ass could you make a vintage motocrosser? Say you had all the time and money you needed, what would you do to make it perfect? It should look somewhat original and keep that cool '82 feel, but have every single modern trick part available, as well as any cool vintage trick part you could find. I built this bike exactly like that. I wanted the best, trickest, but also cleanest bike I could build. I see far too many that get cleaned up and look pretty but feel like a 30 year old machine. Who wants to actually RIDE a beat up old dirt bike? I wanted much much more from this bike, and I got it! What I can promise you is this: You WILL not buy this bike and EVER find a better one. You will not buy this bike, walk around it and realize I missed something that it might need. You will not buy this bike, ride it, and wish it did something better. You will LOVE it! You will sit in your garage and stare at it forever. You will sit on it, grab the bars and daydream on it. Your buddies will hate you... Just a short list: -Pro Gelcoated tank internals -Powdercoated frame, hubs, pegs, triples -Excell wheels, Buchanan stainless spokes -Custom race shock (over 1K invested: hard anodized/hard chrome/ss line/custom valve/spring) -43mm front end w/ Racetech internals, Eibach springs -Hand built exhaust system -Lots of polished parts -TONS of new OEM nuts/bolts/springs/bearings/cables/clamps/bushings, etc. -Original Twin Air airbox completely restored w new filter (try to find one at any price!) -Moto Tassinari 4 reed cage w/carbon reeds -ProTaper bars/clamps (modified with cross-bar to maintain vintage bar look) -Motor is new OEM top to bottom internals, runs better than new Race Tech Brake Arcing done to DLS front brake for max performance (Check this mod out on their website) OEM list is just too long. Every OEM part available today has been put on this bike, every OEM/NOS part available on ebay over the last 2 years is on this bike. **NOTHING was missed, no money spared, thousands put into this long slow build over the last few years.** Obviously I love this bike, and if you contact me we can talk for hours on it.
