1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible You are bidding on a former winning show car. Barn Find Since 1980,s was parked 1990 last plated in the u.p. of michigan near the town baraga . Only a handfull of these cars are still around they made 3,328 . Collectors of these cars love them from the moment they get them and that affection only grows over the years & plus with jimmy durante once owned WOW ! I sure have loved the car for the time i had it This car is truly a collector's Dream Car. 4 door classic convertible once celebrity owned by Jimmy Durante aka THE GREAT SCHNOZZOLA . Car has been sitting in a barn as in dry storage for 22 years so will need some attention. The chrome and trim are good shape there is very little pitting . The front & rear bumper ends are pealing chrome. I did put a set of big fat vintage sears white/walls & repainted the stock wheels factory color gray . We did run & drive the 1966 462 cid 340 H/P 485 LB. motor, the right ex.manifold is cracked and it ran pretty good carb needs rebuilt & trans shifted like it should power steering worked well for sitting 22 years. Someone did change the motor it came with a 430 c.i.d.i did come in the car . We did get the brakes to hold full pressure and stop the car well with no leaks . I worked all the power windows and the power vents all worked fair . Floors and trunk are solid as they get , frame rails no rust they are in great shape and bottom side is in great shape factory tar sill on the bottom side. Interior is in great shape though it will need carpet. The convertible top worked, to get it down i had to bypass a relay. It needs new cloth top and there is a broke j canel part. Car comes with all the paper work I got with the car. The gas tank is out of car. No leaks but it needs flush and a recoat on the inside & needs sender. Car will run & drive onto a trailer.
