motoguzziclassics Store 1953 BUICK ROADMASTER V8 ORIGINAL. Very straight original, very rust free BUICK. Has very thick undercoating. Runs well, needs oil bath air cleaner. This car sat for years. I changed all fluids, flushed radiator, new battery, and went thru the carb. Brakes and tires were horrible. I put a new master cylinder,shoes, wheel cylinders, turned the drums, and replaced the rubber hoses. Replaced a bad wheel bearing. New tires. Guages work, radio works, clock works but looses a few minutes a day. Speedometer woeks, but odometer does not. Wipers vacum hoses are not hooked up. Heater I dont think works. Lights all work, Transmission does leak but works fine. Shocks need replaced. Most stainless trim is excellent. No rust other than surface of body, No CANCER. Steering wheel is choice. All glass is good. I would seal transmission, replace shocks, and find an original air cleaner and drive it as is. Original headliner is very nice. I bought a new water pump because i thought it was leaking, turned out to be a loose hose clamp. Original plates included. Currently registered with clean CALIFORNIA title. Original CHILTONS manual for 1953 included. I really wish i had the room to keep this gem. Go ahead to find a cleaner nicer more original one.
