pikespeak01 Store Real documented TA Challenger. This car has been verified by Galen Govier as an original Dodge TA. I also have the original build sheet. The car was restored aprox. 10 years ago, and driven just to shows since then. It does have all of the original fender tags. This car is registered with the Chrysler Registry, and according to the Registry, this is #218 of 648-1970 Dodge Challengers known to exist, that were sold new in the USA. The VIN is JK23J0B294559, and it was registered in 1999. The car is correct except for the engine block was replaced with a 360 at some time in its life. It does have the six pack carb set-up, and correct air cleaner.The valve covers are also the correct ones. The car runs and drives excellent. The engine sounds great and performed real well. It does have headers, but I have a complete new exhaust system, including stock manifolds, etc. The body and paint are an 8 out of 10. It is very straight, and door fit and panel fit are real good. The trunk floor has been repaired at one time, and if you pull up the trunk mat, you can see a repair. Overall this car is very good, and not priced at $70-$80,000.00 like most documented TA's. If you are looking for a car that you can show and enjoy, that will hold its value, this Challenger would be a great car to own.
