1962 VW Beetle Completely Restored, Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Body, Brakes and Interior. It was restored 2200 miles ago. Floor is in excellent condition. Its a 9.5 out of 10 overall, No b.s!! It runs and drives perfectly! The front axle has been narrowed to allow for the lowered suspension to work properly. Everything on this car is just near perfect! The bigger 1600cc Dual Port engine fires up with less than one engine rotation. Interior is an updated custom interior. Headlamp rings were copper plated and chromed with real chrome... $450 just for them. Headlamp Buckets powder coated. 42-48 MPG!!! New technology Prius cant touch that!! Head turner, conversation starter. Great to take a weekend stroll around town or head off to a car show. Very reliable, simplicity is key!! Dont need a scan tool to fix this one. Every part for this car is still available. Many aftermarket manufacturers make parts for these cars still. Nothing is impossible to get, unlike many other classic cars. You will not be disappointed. Reason for sale.. I love this car, ill be sad to see it go : ( I need the room, I have a couple other projects that need finishing. I just dont have the room to keep it in doors, and would hate to see it become weathered outdoors. It deserves a good home
