1972 AMC JAVELIN SST 360 4v Straight Axle Super Cool Retro 70’s "Humpster" Street Machine! THIS CAR IS READY FOR RESTORATION Rare C4-code Jetset Blue with Blue Corduroy bucket seats. P-code 360 4v, AT, Factory A/C. Aftermarket Chromed Front Straight axle with disk brakes. Missing the carburetor, air cleaner assembly, cooling fan and pulley, otherwise engine appears complete. Engine mechanical condition unknown, we have not attempted to turn the engine. Tires are dry-rotted and will need replacement. Has custom centerline-type rear wheels. Missing keys, will need new ignition switch and trunk lock. Straight and solid body with zero rust issues other than some surface scale. The car had been repainted the original color at some point, but it has been weathered over the years. This has been a Sacramento, CA car since new. All trim is present except of the front right “eyebrow” fender trim and the left rear window lower trim. This car also had the optional vinyl top when new, but all the special trim is gone. All badges are there. Rear left tail-light lens is cracked as well as the front right T/S lens. All glass is intact and in good shape. Good chrome on bumpers. Has aftermarket tow hitch. Fuel tank has a dent, but I believe it could be straightened back into shape. Interior is 100% original. Seat upholstery and carpet is worn and will need replacement. Some of the plastic trim pieces have deteriorated over time. Dash pad is perfect as well as the headliner, however the plastic trim surrounds are failing towards the back. This can be considered an authentic “barn find” as it was recently discovered after sitting since the 80's in a local farms’ storage building. Clean and clear California Title.
