Don't let the miles fool you. This 2002 Volkswagen Beetle GLS Turbo Diesel is just getting started. It runs and drives 100%, gets 50 MPG and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel purrs along without a miss or fluid loss. The fuel efficient and powerful five speed manual transmission shifts like new with plenty of clutch. The brakes, suspension and steering are working perfectly. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is a glossy silver. It may have a scratch here and there so don't expect perfect. It does have it's share of dings especially both rocker panels (see pics). They are the two main issues however the panels can be easily replaced. The windshield is free from chips and cracks. The lights and lenses are bright and clear with no fog or cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 50% tread (see pic). The interior is gray leather seats and carpets with VW mats. The driver seat has the typical side wear spot (see pic). The other seats are in good condition. All the power items such as windows, cruise control, heated front seats, side mirrors, sunroof, etc. work as designed. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. There is a factory sound system with a CD changer in the trunk. No broken cup holders or driver arm rest. Everything works great. The airbag light is on for no apparent reason? There are absolutely no mechanical issues with this car and no indication of any impending problems. The new owner will be able to drive this car home, with confidence, no matter where they live.
