NOTE: I need to sell this car, so the first REASONABLE OFFER, gets this car! I simply won't refuse any reasonable offer! ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY! I'm confident this is the best price and best deal for any late model BMW in similar condition. This car has a current market street value of $25K but am selling it for thousands less because the engine needs repaired. Most cars like this are purchased, fixed and resold for great profits. I'm selling this directly as I purchased it from the insurance company so you can make the repairs yourself and save $. If you know cars, specfically BMW's, you know this is an absolute steal. Please review my feedback of other cars I have sold so you can be confident in a great, safe transaction. For sale is a 2010 BMW 328i project car with only 31K miles. I purchased at an insurance auction because the cars engine inhaled water through the intake. It's titled as a Texas Salvage via flood damage. There is NO water damage inside the car and no water damage anywhere visible outside the car. (it's clear no water ever entered the cabin) The only damage was caused by water going into the intake. Other than the engine, the car is in excellent condition inside and out. I will explain everything I know about the vehicle. It has keyless start so if you have the fob in your pocket, you just press the button to start the car. The car starts right up but will smoke white smoke after it warms up. It also runs a bit rough. It is not drive-able until repaired (except for loading and unloading or moving around). I did call a local independent BMW repair facility last week and explained what I know about the car and they said they had seen several BMW's with water sucked into the intake and they were repaired by replacing the crankcase pressure valve ($400), draining the remaining pockets of water and replacing the spark plugs. Obviously that would be a best case scenario and if that is the case, then that would be wonderful but I am still selling this under the assumption that it may need an engine overhaul. If its much less than that, then great! Another person I spoke to said they thought the head might need to be replaced. (a good used head on Ebay is $700 or less) Either way at this crazy low price, someone will be getting a great deal regardless. She's a beautiful car and she needs to get back on the road! Other than the issue with the motor, everything is in excellent condition and works perfect. All electronics work, navigation, lights, seats, sunroof, stereo, inside smells like new, leather is excellent, interior is immaculate, tires and wheels are like new, great paint with the exception of a couple of scratches, etc. It is a beautiful and exceptional car inside and out and is loaded with expensive options per below.
