Vehicle Detail

THIS IS A BARN FIND 68 MUSTANG SPRINT B OPTIONED CAR.... IT WAS SITTING IN THIS BARN SINCE 1979, WHEN IT WAS DROVE IN TO "STORE FOR THE WINTER"...30 PLUS YEARS LATER I BOUGHT IT.... I FOUND WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE DEALER DOOR STICKER AND COULD READ; SPRINT OPTION B, WHAT I COULD MAKE OUT WAS THE GT FOG LIGHTS, C STRIPE, POP OPEN GAS CAP, RALLEY WHEELS, AND IT WAS FADED AWAY AFTER THAT. IT IS A 289 2-BARREL AUTOMATIC CAR, IT HAS THE GOOD-YEAR GT BIAS PLY TIRES ON IT STILL... THE ENGINE ROLLS OVER BY HAND, I HAVE NOT TRIED TO START IT, IM SURE THE FUEL SYSTEM WILL NEED LOOKED AT. THE BRAKES WERE STUCK ON TWO CORNERS,OBVIOUSLY THEY WILL NEED WORK..... THE BEST THING IS IT IS 100 PERCENT THERE, AS DROVE IN IN 79! , LESS BATTERY, IT WAS PULLED WHEN PARKED. THE INTERIOR IS IN DARN GOOG CONDITION. IT WILL NEED RUST REPAIR IN THE QUARTERS, AND LOWER FENDER AREA. INSIDE THE TRUNK IS GREAT, AND UNDER THE CAR LOOKS PRETY GOOD. I WANT TO GET IT IN THE AIR AND POST PICTURES OF THE UNDER SIDE SOON...On Oct-14-13 at 18:58:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I FINALLY GOT THE PICTURE FROM THE PHONE TO UPLOAD, SHOWING THE CAR COMING OUT OF THE BARN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 30 YEARS.... I CAN'T EDIT THE FIRST DESCRIPTION SO THE WORD GOOG" HAS TO STAY, IT PRETTY MUCH MEANS GOOD.....On Oct-15-13 at 19:42:57 PDT, seller added the following information: What looks like clear coat peeling in the pictures is just the water drying from the first wash job in 34 years....On Oct-16-13 at 19:32:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I just went out and tried the best I could without jacking the car up in the air, and snapped a few shots of the under side of the car...... It has alot of surface rust from sitting in storage for 34 years, Idealy I should have jacked the car up high enough to have pressure washed it to get a better look at what we have... Joe
