1978 Chevy Malibu 4 door sedan. In good shape for the age. Condition can be seen in the pictures. The rear frame rails are solid, the underneath appears to have been Ziebart rust proof from when it was new so very nice shape underneath. The gas tank does have a leak, the speedometer cable needs replaced which is included, it stopped working about 6 months ago. There is a vibration up front when applying the brakes at speed, I have not checked it out but it feels like a ball joint or tie rod end. Tires are in very good shape with lots of tread. Has a 305 V8 engine and 350 auto transmission that runs good but when it's warm it cranks slower but does start right up. Not much rust on the car, there is a hole about 2 inches in diameter on the upper rocker of the passenger rear doorway, some rust starting where the trim came of on the right quarter and some on the bottom seam of the left rear door. Could use shocks all around as it does have a bounce to it. This is a very sound car to have but I just don't have the time to fix it up now. On Oct-15-13 at 21:10:00 PDT, seller added the following information:Couple of things I noticed and were not in the earlier description are a crack in the windshield. Also the car needs some exhaust work, although I like the sound fumes can be smelled while driving.
