Vehicle Detail

This is a project car. Body is in great shape. It is pretty dusty in these pictures and not detailed. It will shine like new when washed and waxed. One very small tiny rust bubble by the rear taillight is all I noticed on the car. The bumper needs to be tightened a little on the right front (it sags just a little just on the side as you can see in the pic. Inside is nice as well (non smokers). Was traded into the new car dealer just like it is, It did run in limp mode when I got it. I took it to BMW in Sioux Falls and they could not diagnose it without taking off the valve covers to check the timing they said which would cost $750. I did not feel it was fair, so I pulled the car out and am going to sell it the way it is. They originally said it needed a computer, which I agreed to for $1200 (Way higher than I can get one direct or on ebay as they are available for $100 or less - but I knew going to BMW I would pay more so I could fix it right, so I just paid it), but again, after they replaced it, they said it needed further diagnosis before they could fix it (by checking the timing). When I brought it there it started, ran, and drove (crappy - but it did - and it did NOT overheat. When I told them to put my old computer back in and that I did not want them to do any other work, it won't start now. What you need is a GOOD and REPUTABLE and HONEST BMW shop to diagnose and fix this car. The previous owner put a LOT of money trying to fix it themselves and you can see the throttle body is new ($1000+). Much more has been done, but I am not going to tow this to BMW Omaha, as I have already paid $500 in tow bills just to get it to Sioux Falls and back. I wish I would have taken it to Omaha to start with. Markel has a great reputation I found out, after the fact. It has 146,000 miles. Looks great. Tires are just OK. Inside is super nice compared to most. The car is not modified or customized and makes an EXCELLENT project for someone who has another for parts, or who knows how to diagnose and fix a car. Clean title in hand and ready to go. Sold AS IS and with no warranty. NO RESERVE. $500 deposit via paypal due within 24 hours of auction close. Shipping is buyers responsibility. I will assist in pickup of course. I have 100% feedback rating because I give HONEST descriptions to a fault, and there just any BS here. We are a debt free, happy, successful business and we always seem to get the same from out customers. Good luck!!
