This 1968 Presidential Blue Mustang Coupe had a complete professional restoration it's as clean underneath as it is on top. Drive-line consists of a top loader 4 speed manual, with the original 302 V8 that's been stroked to 347 with windsor heads, comp cam, full headers and 3" exhaust. The engine was completely overhauled and rebuilt professionally at same time as the restoration. It has a 9" rear end with a 3.83 ratio final drive gear so that it cruises very comfortably on the highway. The restoration was started in 99 {55K miles} and finished in 2000. All running hardware on the car was either replace or refurbished {new brake lines, springs, front disk brakes, etc}. Car has always been lovingly garaged since. Car is a lot of fun to drive. Certainly a lot of thumbs up and smiles from all who see it. With the 3" exhaust and ample power under the hood, this car makes quite an entrance. You can tell from it's low rumble that it's a fast car, but it's fully muffled, so it doesn't annoy when cruising slowly or driving on the highway. This is the last time it will be on EBay. I listed it originally for 20K, then 18K, and now 15K or best offer, this is rock bottom got-to-go price.
