Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1956 International S-120 4x4 truck. I bought this truck a few years ago as a project but other priorities have caused me to sell the truck. The engine starts right up and runs great!...The transmission, transfer case and the rest of the drivetrain is also in good shape with no issues. As you can see it needs some TLC. The body is solid and straight but the bed is badly rusted and will need to be repaired or replaced. A good project truck for someone with mechanical skills, time and money. I have a couple of doors for this truck with the glass, original bench seat and a few other stuff that will be included to the winning bidder. Please feel free to ask me any quetions before the end of auction. Being sold as is... Thank youOn Oct-13-13 at 20:45:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello everyone... I just wanted to make it clear that this is a 1957 International S-120 4x4 truck. I noticed in my description that it said 1956 which it's not. This truck is a diamond in the rough... I hope it goes to a good home and owner. On Oct-14-13 at 10:02:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello again... I've had a few people ask me about the mileage. The odometer indicates 10,009.5 but we all know we are looking at 110,009.5On Oct-19-13 at 18:13:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello Ebayer's,... I have been overwhelmed with a lot of questions about this movie star truck. I had a fellow ebayer send some information that might be of interest to you all and it is good knowledge....This is what he said... "You might what to let bidders know that it is a first series 1957 international S-120 4x4 as it is a split year like 1955 chev truck is". I have 1957 second series and it gets confusing when ordering parts (Don). Thank you to Don... Also, a few people have asked me about how the engine runs... IT PURRS LIKE A KITTEN!, no joke. It's amazing how this engine starts right up and idle's perfectly. All of the gearing/drivetrain (transmission, transfer case & Differential ) is solid. I'm gonna be honest and say that I never changed the plugs, cap rotor or points and the engine runs like my brother in law say's "Golden".... I can just imagine what a tune up will do. Another Ebayer asked me if the engine smokes, guess what I told him... NO!... So many questions but I will answer you all the best of my ability. I washed the truck today and brought my father with me to help. He was amazed on how solid and bullet proof these trucks were made back in the day ( HEAVY METAL ). He said I had a tractor... Someone online commented " The Diamond series engines in those old International trucks were much like tractor engines, with a long stroke and smallish bore. And coupled with the short wheelbase, locking rear end and low gearing, it made like a mountain goat off road".... WOW! enough said...., for those of you who know what your looking at, this truck is a piece of history. Good Luck!
