1967 Chevelle Super Sport. Marina Blue exterior, Bright Blue interior. Data plate indicates the car left the Atlanta factory the second week of October 1966, with a four speed, tinted glass, rear antenna, and a bench seat. Please check the photo of the data plate to confirm. The Super Sport also has power steering and power brakes. The car is not bolted to the 1966 SS Chevelle four speed frame it is sitting on. I still have the original frame, which has a crack in the front control arm area, plus the metal is thin where the front bumper brackets bolt on. This, and the power steering box are included with this auction. NO OTHER PARTS ARE INCLUDED, unless pictured. This is NOT a nut and bolt project, but it's not a soft metal rust bucket that you are buying for the firewall and title. The Chevelle has been repainted, so I am describing the condition of the Super Sport as honestly as I can. The complete drive train is gone. Not the original radiator. The car has a 10 bolt differential. Someone replaced the lower half of both quarter panels, below the Super Sport emblem, but not done very well. Many ripples where they fasten to outer rocker panels. I don't know they are repairable, or if they need replacing. The trunk floor needs replacing because of rust, and also the taillight panel because of a poor repair. Probably the wheel wells and trunk drops will need replacing, since the trunk floor is bad. The doors and rocker panels look solid, the front fenders have a very small amount of filler in the lowers, The cowl appears solid, The hood look's good underneath, some rust damage near one exterior edge. No holes in the roof, deck lid, or filler panel. The interior floor boards are repairable, or install a partial patch on both sides. No soft metal. The only rust holes are in the front section foot area and slightly up the firewall, near the seam. Typical GM "A" body, the front and rear window channels are probably rusted, allowing rain water to rust the trunk and interior floor. The radiator support has a rusty bracket underneath the battery tray. I think this is repairable. No cracked glass, but several have been hit with a DA sander. All four side windows crank up and down easily. The front bumper is bent slightly, burt repairable. Also a slight dent in the grill, also repairable. Actual mileage is unknown. I have included a lot of photo's, please look closely, ask me questions. You are welcome to come and look at the Super Sport, or have a repesentive check everything for you to confirm the condition of the Chevelle. A $500.00, non-refundable deposit is required within 72 hours. This is to cover the EBay fees if you do not follow through with the purchase, for any reason, and I have to re-list. I can store the Super Sport, inside until Thanksgiving, if necessary. I have to have the purchase price in my savings account, funds cleared, before the title is signed and the Super Sport leaves my property. Thanks for looking at my auction. The 138 is also on the door jamb VIN, and stamped into the quarter panels at the trunk opening.
