THE STORY: THIS WAS THE OWNER OF OUR DEALERSHIP FATHER'S TRUCK. HE BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW AND IS THE ONLY DRIVER OF THE TRUCK SINCE NEW. COSMETICALLY THE TRUCK IS A LITTLE ROUGH, BUT MECHANICALLY THE TRUCK IS SOUND . IN FACT HE DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO REPLACE THE TRUCK . WE JUST TOLD HIM IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW ONE. I WOULD GET IN THIS TRUCK AND DRIVE IT ANYWHERE!

looking at a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500hd Extended Cab SLE Shortbed. It is powered
with a 6.6L Duramax Diesel V8 and an Allison automatic transmission. It is
equipped with dual power seats, power mirrors, power windows,
power locks, am/fm/cd player, spray-in bedliner, and receiver hitch. Also included
is one keyless remote, the original window sticker, and the owner's manuals.
The interior of this
truck has some defined character. The driver's seat edge is worn out and the center console lid is broke. The carpet has bleach spots here and there.Also the headliner is loose . Everything appears to function properly except the fuel guage.You can make the interior right for around $800, but the price wouldn't be this low if we fixed it.
The exterior of the

Mechanically, this truck
starts right up and runs great.The owner always took great care in changing his oil and fuel filters like he was suppose to. There is a small rear main seal leak . There are no service lights on. There is no
smoke out the exhaust. The transmission shifts smooth. The a/c blows cold ( the blower motor is a little weak). The front end appears
tight. The tires are on the weak side .
Our opinion: If you are looking for a new show truck diesel , this is not it! If you are looking for a very dependable diesel work truck here you go!
