2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible LXi - ***Needs Engine Fix*** ***Continental US ONLY!!!*** Serious Buyers ONLY!!! -This is the third time I have listed this because of unqualified buyers (mostly they didn't or were unable to read this first.) Also, you need a feedback score of at least 5! Has lots of new parts on it...tie rods, battery, tires, ball joints, brakes (about $2000 into it)...then the engine had a rod go out, or that's what I'm told. It started a knocking sound. I kept regular maintenance up and lessened the oil changes as the car got older. When I first heard the sound from the engine, I pulled over to find the oil had run dry! I'm not sure what caused it, but the engine purred before that. I drove it to where it is parked and have not moved it. I ended up just buying another car, but I figure this one still has value... It has been a GREAT car! Most all of the miles are interstate miles. I thought this one may be cool to transform to an electric car, since it is still in good shape with new parts on it that have nothing to do with the motor/trany. Otherwise, it is an excellent candidate for the handyman wanting a cheap, nice looking convertible; or for a used parts dealer. Entertaining offers and advice! Thank you and God Bless!!! :)
