Hello. Thanks for looking at my 1968 2000cs I have for sale. I recently acquired this car from a gentleman in Texas, who owned it for a few years after bringing it from Utah. It has just recently arrived in Florida. It is a very solid car for a BMW e9 which are notorious for rust, being that it has stayed in more drier climates/states most of its life than say Florida, haha. It is very original, with very nice trim, bumpers, headliner, door cards, carpet, etc. The hot Texas sun has taken its toll on the paint, dash, and vinyl on the seats. The worst of the rust is in the thin rain tray between the trunk lid and rear glass and the wheel well/rocker corner areas on the driver corner. The car does not obviously run as it needs gone through thoroughly. It comes with a box of miscellaneous parts such as the original solex carbs, the air box, full spare wiring harness, trunk carpet, etc. It is missing the horn cover for steering wheel, and the tool box. It would make for a great car for restoration or other project car with later motor swap. I would love to keep and do a old school rally theme, and make a cool driver but just do not have the means. Car is also great for parts but I would really love to see it saved. The sunroof and front manual windows are fully operational. It's a very beautiful car in person. I have owned a 2800cs as well and I love the front ends on these if not more so than the 2800/3.0. The euro lamps are very classy and elegant. It does steer and ebrake does work, but will need tires if planned on being towed. Car will be sold with a clean and clear Florida title in my name. Any other questions please ask.
