Here we have a 78 FJ40. She is a tank to say the least.... . she has both front rear heaters, 4 speed trans, original 6 cyl with a Holly carb on it. Tough as nails ive never had such a tough truck. but i have 3 FJ's now and the wife is pissed. so one must go or were all going. starts, runs, drives, wheels like a champ. she is not registered right now as i will load her on a trailer and take her where ever we are going." I like ac for the ride to and from events". A HEI was installed to replace the points ignition, rebuilt carb,just tuned her up and all fluids have been changed. The front end, " fenders,hood etc" have been replaced as the originals were horribly rusted. I do have a hard top, full doors, and rear ambulance doors for this as well. The doors are not free of rust but are complete glass, door panels etc. The jump seats are in great shape but the fronts are are worse for wear. I keep water proof covers on them so i dont see them much anymore. The tub has rust as i brought her back from CO so if your looking for a rust free truck , this is not it! If your looking to have a great time wheel in and out of damn near anything.... this may be your ride. Note: trailer and excessively large cat not included in auction. :)
