As Consumer Reports so aptly stated, the Honda S2000 is an "uncompromising sports car". What does this mean?? If you want a two seat convertible GT car with a cushy ride, buy a Pontiac Solstice or an Audi TT or any number of foreign or domestic variants. But if you want to experience what it was like to drive a true sports car, like the Austin Healey 3000, or the MGB, or the Triumph TR 3 or 4, or the Alfa Romeo Guilia Spyder, or the Porsche 356, then this is the car for you. Know what it was like to drive a true sports car before they were designed by focus groups and the federal government! The added advantage is that it has all the modern conveniences like air, cruise control, a great stereo, power locks and windows and best of all, a bullet proof Honda engine and transmission!! I am the second non-smoking owner and have the title in hand. I purchased this car as a lease return with only 9500 miles. There is some minor curb rash (professionally touched up) on the lower front bumper and on the front wheels (not touched up). Most chips have been professionally touched up. Other than that, the car is very good to excellent. Paint is shiny, leather is perfect and top is in excellent condition. It has been garage kept as long as I have owned it, and not taken out in the winter. The car has been professionally maintained and while driven spiritedly (I mean come on!!) it has never been driven hard or raced on the street or track. The car has never been in an accident and all body panels have the factory stickers. At an opening bid of $16,000.00, this car is priced to sell. The Kelly Blue Book private sale value for this vehicle in very good condition is $22,102.00.
