Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28. This is a True Matching Numbers original z28 with two known owners, 68k original miles. The car was purchased by the current owner in the mid 1980's and the only thing that was done to this car since is that the motor was rebuilt and normal routine maintenance. It has been garage kept and only driven a few weekends a year. This has original engine DZ 302 block and crank with matching casting numbers, original muncie 4-speed manual Transmission with 12 bolt posi 4.11 geared rear end. The motor was Rebuilt in 1994 by Lirones Motorsports In Tujunga CA. It only has about 5k miles since the rebuild. The motor was blueprinted and balanced, it has a ultradyne cam with roller rockers. At the time of the build, the cost to rebuild the motor was over $5,000 in 1994. At the time of build, the car was verified by the shop to be true matching numbers DZ crank and block matching casting numbers, transmission and rear end. Nothing was changed besides regular maintenance items on this vehicle. This is a True matching numbers car. The motor is solid, Runs excellent . The transmission shifts fine in all gears with no issues and the clutch is great. This car has tons of Power, it was a pleasure driven car,not abused or raced. The body is straight and clean and the paint is clean. It is the same paint since bought in the mid 1980's, but believed to have had a respray prior to that. The only rust issue on the car is on the passengers front fender. The antenna is missing and it allowed water to go into the fender and drip to the bottom of the fender. There is a pic of the missing antenna and lower fender, that is the only rust issue on the car, the rest of the car is solid. The paint is is at least over 25 years old. It's clean but not perfect and has some random chips from over the years. The interior is original and has minimal signs of wear, a tear on the drivers seat on the left side you can clearly see in pictures and a small one inch tear in the headliner. The car is solid and ready to drive. I just drove it 100 miles the day the pictures were taken. The side passenger mirror glass is broken and needs to be replaced. Everything else works well and functions as it should, windows roll up and down smooth.
