Vehicle Detail
2005 Ferrari 575M 14,300 miles from new Recent major service Fiorano handling package Daytona seats with red inserts Scuderia Ferrari fender shields Introduced in 2002, the Ferrari 575 Maranello has often been described as the modern Ferrari “Daytona.” A classic front engine/rear driver Grand Tourer, it was a greatly improved version of its 550 predecessor. Upgrades included a renewed interior, bigger brakes, a larger and more powerful engine, improved aerodynamics, an adaptive suspension and the option of Magneti Marelli paddle-shift F-1 transmission. With a stout 515 hp on tap, the 575 Maranello F-1 sprints from zero to 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds, zero to 150 mph in 22 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 202 mph. Car & Driver Editor Csaba Csere wrote: For a car capable of running 200 mph, the Maranello is astonishingly plush and refined. Through the wizardry of electronics, its suspension soaks up the fractures of our Michigan roads while maintaining the excellent body control required by a machine this rapid. Although the Maranello accelerates ferociously even at triple-digit speeds, it always remains stable and secure. One reason is the superb F-1 gearbox, which lets you keep both hands on the wheel while the electronics dispense seamless shifts. It is the definitive ultra-performance GT, and were I inclined to challenge the Cannonball coast-to-coast record, the 575M would be my machine of choice. This Maranello is offered in truly superb condition throughout. In the classic Ferrari colour scheme of Rosso Corsa over Cuoio (Tan) leather, it shows fantastically well, with only 14,300 miles on the odometer from new. Sold new in California and residing there until a couple of years ago, the car has been meticulously maintained and stored. The 5,000 mile service, performed in December of 2006, at 4.015 miles at The Auto Gallery in Canoga Park, CA An Annual Service was recorded @ 9866 Miles, completed on July 19th, 2007 at Ferrari & Maserati of San Diego The first major service (incl. Belts) was performed at 14,051 miles on August 1st, 2011 at Ferrari St. Louis. Mechanically, the car is as exceptional as the above service history would imply. The V12 is in excellent tune and is responsive and powerful. The F1 transmission is faultless. Brakes, featuring red calipers, suspension, with the fantastic Fiorano handling package, and steering are all excellent; all electrical systems operate perfectly, with cold AC. The car presents exceptionally well. The paint is excellent with no signs of accident damage or repair, as corroborated by CarFax and AutoCheck. Wheels are scuff-free upgraded alloys, shod with good tires with plenty of tread remaining. The interior of the car is excellent throughout with nearly no wear to seat surfaces, including unmarked bolsters, normally a scuffed area on these cars. Carpet is excellent, as are all panels. The dash is also excellent, with a perfectly operable ashtray, no “stickiness” to the surfaces or “shrinkage” around the ventilation ducts near the windshield – all problematic issues with these cars. This heavily optioned example sports: Daytona-Style Seats with contrasting red inserts ($2,526) Coloured Upper Dashboard ($774) Fiorano Handling Package ($3,600) Scuderia Ferrari Fender Shields ($1,666) Rosso Seat Piping ($731) Leather Rear Shelf Upholstery ($1,955) Steering Wheel in Cuoio Leather ($322) The original list price was $247,113.00 This fabulous car is accompanied by all keys and alarm/central locking remotes, a full compliment of original books, owners manuals and original windown sticker, as well at a complete set of factory tools.
