Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful car. I believe there were only 4700 or so made between 1985-1997. The reason I am selling is that I purchased a new car and no longer have garage space for this car, and I would hate to leave it outside. It shows 132k Miles, however the speedometer and odometer do not work (I believe it needs a sending unit) It sat partly in an airplane hanger and garage for 6 years. Carfax is perfect, no accidents etc., Clean clear TX title in my name. Recently passed a DYNO inspection, so Texas tags are good for another year. I want to list all of the things that I find wrong with the car. All of the lights work, signals, suspension, turbo spools fine etc, No check engine lights, the brake pressure light blinks for a little while after starting and then goes away. ABS light is on. There are a few things that this car does need. 1. Small oil leak, parked after driving it leaves a spot about the size of a quarter. 2. Small leak that I believe is coming from an old radiator hose near the front. 3. The front right upper ball joint I believe needs to be replaced. 4. The A/C needs to be recharged with R12. It blows fine, heater works. 5. Appears to need a tune up and exhaust leak repair, I narrowed it down to a straight pipe under the passenger door. ABS sensor (I have a brand new set of Bentley wires, caps, rotors and belt for the new owner) When car is first started cold idle is a little rough, however it does even out as it warms up, drove it fast on the tollway. The car has decent shiny paint, it appears to have been professionally repainted several years ago (doesn't look cheap), There are a 2 surface rust spots about the size of a dime near the lower part of the front fenders. Radio does not turn on, but I believe it has to do with a fuse. Oil pressure is good, replaced AC compressor belt and alternator belt with original Bentley parts. Leather is in perfect condition, it is soft, no tears etc. The power seats and seat heaters work great, mirrors (there are some marks on the outer rubber pieces) etc. The chrome wheels are pretty rare, they are off of a newer Bentley Turbo RT, I have only seen one other car with these wheels in chrome. The tires are Goodyear and are in great shape. It will come with 3 bottles of mineral oil for the hydraulic suspension, some of the books etc that came with it when it was new, The original thick wool floor mats are also included, as well as a 2,900 page workshop manual on CD that covers everything on this car. I have described every little thing that I could find wrong with this car, it is by no means perfect, but it runs, drives and I think it will make a great car for someone who wants to fix the little things that are wrong. For out of state buyers the shipping cost will be actual cost most likely $500-1k, I will help find the least expensive company and drive the car to an open parking lot that is easy for the truck driver to load. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. 8I7-9Othree-994O On Sep-24-13 at 13:13:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Has a brand new battery with warranty. The tires are Goodyear 255/55/17.On Sep-29-13 at 14:39:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked about the leaks, it seems to leak more when the car is NOT running, I dont see anything leaking when it is running. So if parked for a few days, you will notice the spots are larger. As far as the idle being rough, it does get smoother when it warms up, but is still not perfect. A potential buyer did come and look at it, he mentioned that the outer edge of the right rear fender had been repaired before, most likely when it was repainted years ago. The glass is perfect with no cracks, chips, or tint. I only have one original key for it.
