This is a 1968 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible for Sale. I'm helping the owner - Jim - sell it. He is not good with computers. I am good with computers so I put it up for sale for him. If you're interested please make an offer through eBay. Jim will entertain any serious offer. Once someone makes a good enough offer through eBay we will accept it and end the auction. Here is what Jim told me about the car: Notes about the Car I am selling this car because my wife and I ware getting older and we want to get a 2013 Camaro that's easier to get in and out of. To my knowledge this Camaro is an original SS. I purchased the car from a dealership in Aurora, New York. The VIN is: 124678N379586. A photo of the trim tag is below. The odometer reads 41,538. It has a 1969 396/350hp in it which makes it period correct. (The origial block was cracked.) It has custom exhaust with Hedman Headers, Edelbrock intake and carburetor. The heads were redone with seats replaced to burn unleaded gas. It has a Crane Cam. It has a Big Block-400 Turbo Transmission. It has a 10 bolt rear end. It has power disc brakes on the front. It can burn unleaded gas. It has Monroe Air Shocks in the rear with Monroe Spring Assist in the front. The car was repainted Lemas Blue in 2006 (frame on paint). The interior was also re-done in 2006. It has Cragar Wheels with new Cooper white lettered tires. It has a black manual top. It has power steering. The Power steering gear box and pump, fuel pump and alternator were all replaced in the last few years. I have the lifetime limited warranty receipts for the fuel pump, alternator, power steering pump, and gear box. It has Camaro floormats. It's been a winner at quite a few car shows. The car is located in Monroe, MI., which is about 40 miles south of Detroit. The photos and videos you see were taken a couple of weeks ago. There are lots of photos so please give this page some time to load. Here are Answers to Questions You Might Have About Buying a Car on eBay: Q: I can’t see the car in person—what if it is not as described when I get it? A: I definitely understand where you are coming from! Here are a couple things to put your mind at ease: 1. I sent out a professional photographer who has seen the car in person and has reported back to me with high-resolution photos and HD video. We also made sure to point out any flaws the car may have. We want to be as honest and forthcoming about the car as possible. You don’t want to buy a car that you are not comfortable with. You need to know you made a good decision. If you prefer you can have an independent third party come out and inspect the car and make sure it is as we described. eBay recommends www.InspectMyRide.com. Of course you may send a friend or relative out to look at the car, or come and see it in person. Finally, eBay protects both the buyer and the seller through their program called Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP). This program provides protection for transactions that are completed on eBay against fraud and scams. You can read about it in detail here: http://pages.motors.ebay.com/buy/purchase-protection. For example, if you pay for a vehicle and never receive it, you are covered under VPP. Q: How do I pay for the car? A: If you win the auction, here is the standard procedure that most people follow: Step 1. You make a refundable deposit on the car through eBay and Paypal (just follow the instructions from eBay after the action ends). Step 2. The owner will email or fax you a copy of the Title, and a signed Bill of Sale. Step 3. You send a bank wire to the seller’s bank for the remaining balance. Step 4. You pick up the car immediately after the bank wire is received (which usually takes about 45 minutes from the time you send it). Or, we can help you make arrangements to have the car shipped to you. Q: Can I have someone come out and look at the car? A: Of course! We’ve done the best job we can presenting the car through the photos and videos, but nothing beats seeing the car in person. Feel free to call me (813-764-6909) to set up a time to come out and see the car yourself, or to send someone to come out and inspect it.
