With only 44,999 original miles on the odometer, this Mustang is sure to gain the attention of many Mustang and Ford Collectors. This great Mustang convertible does come with a brand A title, meaning mileage is correct. The interior of this 1966 Mustang Convertible is all original and is exactly what you would expect to see in a 45,000 original mile car. As far as the current owner is aware and our professionals can tell, the stereo is the only thing that has been swapped out. This is a power top optioned car, which was a $53 upgrade ( fairly pricey for 1966). It was also a power steering upgrade car. Mechanically this very original 1966 Mustang convertible is in very nice condition. The motor fires right up and the transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes work just as they should and the tires are nearly brand new. The engine was given a recent tune up including: new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, radiator, and alternator; to insure this Mustang was reliable. Dual exhaust was also added to this Mustang and has the great American muscle car sound you would expect out of a Detroit V8. With the exception of one color change paint job, which was done long ago; this great low mileage 1966 Mustang Convertible is VERY original. The body is straight and very rust free, however the underside with need attention. The torque boxes all seem to be sound, however it will require some floor pan work (see Photos). The paint will shine up nicely with a decent buff and wax. If someone is looking to make a show car out of this low mileage mustang, they will want to take it back to the original springtime yellow.
