Vehicle Detail
1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Rat Rod! Truck was taken down to the frame and rebuilt. ONLY400 MILES SINCE REBUILD. Front frame was boxed and a custom cross member was added so allow for lower independent front suspension mounting points as well as a 12:1 BRT power rack for power steering. The truck has coil over independent front suspension with Koni shocks and Hypercoil springs. Howe aluminum front hubs with large GM single piston brakes and Wilwood pads and rotors. New corvette style master cylinder and brake lines throughout the truck, Wilwood inline proportioning valve to the rear brakes to adjust brake bias as needed. Rear end has been rebuilt and suspension and brakes have all been done. New Monroe Sensatrac rear shocks and new rear brake drums, shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware. Fuse box and wiring have been completely replaced with new taillights, license plate light, headlights, and park/turn signals in the front. Engine is a mildly built 350 Chevy V8 that runs and drives great. Was not completely rebuilt at the time of the truck build but it does have a new cam and lifters and is mated up to a 3 speed Saginaw transmission with a floor shifter. Ignition system was upgraded with an MSD 6AL box and a Crane Fireball coil. Truck also has a Holley 650 carb and Edelbrock aluminum intake. The truck sits on new Nitto 555 Extreme Tires, 225-35-20 in the front and 245-35-20 in the rear with 20" American Racing Torque Thurst Wheels. On the inside the seat was reupholstered and new carpet added. New Dolphin gauges installed (still need to change the sending unit in the fuel tank to make the fuel gauge read correctly but I could take care of that before the sale if needed) All new glass for this truck as well (passenger door glass has not yet been installed but I have it along with a brand new headliner that has not yet been installed. The bed wood and hold down strips were replaced with a replacement kit from Classic Parts not a hacked together do it your self plywood job. This truck runs and drives down the road great, I just got back from a 100+ mile round trip to the North East Street Rod Nationals with it where the truck received a lot of looks and compliments. If you want to be seen this is the truck for you! I have also included some pictures of the build. Please let me know if you have any questions. $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours from the end of the auction and final payment within 10 days. I can help get the truck shipped if needed but it will be your job to either pick the truck up or arrange to have it shipped.
