Now here's a modern classic that you can drive every day! The mid-1980s Porsche Carrera bridges the gap between the lightweight, visceral, and increasingly more expensive 911s of the early 1970s and the larger, luxurious, computer-controlled Carreras of today. However, this is not your regular mid-'80s 911 Carrera Targa. This one was Special Ordered and sent directly from the Porsche factory to DP Motor Sports in Stuttgart, Germany for performance and suspension upgrades and custom coach work. By retaining the normal aspirated Euro Spec 3.2-Liter engine, you have GREAT performance without the additional maintenance of the turbo. Many cars have DP factory or after market fiberglass component add ons, but there are few documented factory upgraded steel cars. Details: Exterior: The no accident and no rust body is very straight with uniform panel gaps. The paint is original and un-restored but is in remarkable condition for the age of the car with very minor rock chips down low and in front of the hood from limited track use. Interior: The interior is in good original condition to include the seats, leather trim accents, dash and carpet. NEW floor mats. The clock even works! All instruments, switches, and lamps are in their proper operating condition. Convenience options and features include AM/FM Stereo, power front and rear brakes, power windows, power mirrors, Engine and Driveline: The entire engine and driveline has been mechanically refreshed. 3.2 Liter, 300 hp engine with only 20,000 miles since rebuild completed by legendary NW performance engine builder Dick Elderud, fully documented and with receipts; NEW Brakes, C/V joints, Performance Clutch and shortened throw shift linkage. Dual stainless steel exhaust system. Suspension lowered at DP Motor Sports with handling upgrades. There are absolutely no fluid leaks or drips. Wheels & Tires: Custom matched original powder coated BBS wheels and NEW Bridgestone Potenza low profile tires. This 911 Carrera is rare, a great investment and strong runner.
