Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE. Complete 1970 911 T Coupe Project. This is a project car that was taken off the road for restoration in running, driving condition approximately five years ago. Current and clean Iowa title. Much hard work as already been done but much left to go. All of the parts appear to be present and the previous owner did a fabulous job of marking and labeling the small bits. New floor pans partially welded in. Rockers need to be welded in but new parts are included. The rear firewall needs welded in and is not included. Everything you see in the photos is included. Comes with the original decklid and the duck tail. Five original fuchs are included. The car was sort of an RS replica when disassembled so items not preset will be things like seats, door panels etc. The car had two aftermarket seats in it with aluminum door panels. The aluminum door panels are present but the seats are not. This would be a perfect base for an RS or R replica. The car was originally signal orange but is now stripped to bare metal. These early "long hood" 911s are appreciating like crazy so get one while you can. This is a great investment car in my opinion. The engine and transmission are included and in tact. The car "ran very strong" to paraphrase the previous owner before the car was taken apart for restoration. I have no doubt you will have to source some parts here and there but from what I can tell, this project is very complete and even has many new parts like door skins that go with it. It rolls and steers fine so loading will not be an issue. However, the car is in pieces. I am happy to help with shipping to a certain degree if you must, but I strongly recommend local pickup in an enclosed trailer or at least a van or truck with a topper to protect the small parts. There are a lot of parts here. We used a cargo van stuffed full of parts and an open trailer to get it to our shop. The engine and transmission assembly was in the back of another pickup. There is a lot of stuff here. DO NOT get a standard auto shipping rate and expect to get this shipped across the country for a standard rate. The car should be shipped enclosed since it is bare metal and the parts will need crated and shipped separately. As I said, I can help with this but you will need to pay me for my time and materials if you must use a third party shipper. NO RESERVE, BID TO WIN. THE CAR WILL NOT BE REMOVED FROM EBAY EARLY. NO GAMES. IF THERE IS A BID, THE CAR IS SELLING ON EBAY, PERIOD. Deposit (non-refundable) of $500 due in 48 hours after close of auction, FULL payment due in 36 hours after close of auction--bank wire preferred. Look at my phone number and my 100% feedback. I love 911s and I don't play games. You are bidding to own the car. Call me with questions, 319 three six zero 0911. Thanks and good luck. Pete On Sep-21-13 at 18:14:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention. Please no emails. If you have lengthy questions, call my cell phone and I would be delighted to talk to you. If you have a quick question, feel free to text me. THX!On Sep-23-13 at 12:25:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had many people ask about the VIN tags and engine code. The data tag by the smuggler's box is accounted for and matches the VIN tag on the door jamb and title. The original plate by the hood latch is not there but may be in a box somewhere. Bid accordingly. The engine number to the right of the fan on the upright is *6107439*. Thanks and good luck to all. Note that the fenders, doors, hood etc were simply set in place for the photographs. This is why many of the gaps are off. Again, the car is completely disassembled currently.
