NO RESERVE AUCTION This bute is a classic 1951 Willys Overland Station Wagon with a lot of character. It is a running, driving and stopping project vehicle. The Chevy 283 V8 small block replaced the previous F-head engine that was originally in it. This wagon has typical dents for a 60 year old body but I will include a straight hood with the vehicle when it sells) and this vehicle has minimal rust. The seats are in good condition with no tears and the vehicle comes with new side panels that have never been installed and match the seats. The driver side floor will probably need new sheet metal welded in and the tailgate has some rust on it. But the frame is in fantastic shape. All of the wood in the back is intact, which is not always easy to come by on these older vehicles. I believe this Willys has the 5.83 gears in it, which means that the top speed of this pretty little thing is about 50 MPH and she'll cruise really nice at 40 MPH. The TITLE is CLEAR!! So you could make this your daily driver in no time! The engine runs like a top. The carburetor may need a rebuild kit at some point but it idles just fine as is. Just about all of the glass will need to be replaced and the fuel lines and gas tank will need to be cleaned out. She's currently running off of a gas can because of the rust in the fuel tank. And last but not least, the previous owner decided to cut out a rectangle from the top to be able to shoot varmints from the vehicle.. so there is a well cut hole in the roof, which I thought it would be kind of cool to turn it into a pop-up camper (kind of like the old vanagons) or to make it into a sun roof.
