This is a 1985 VW Westfalia Camper with 14" Alloy Wheels and Brand NEW Hanook RA09 tires. (cost of wheels and tires $1100.00).This Westfalia has a 1.9 fuel injected engine. It is a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts VERY smoothly. This is my bus for 3 years, we have traveled up and down east coast and camp regularly in it. The bus has a 170K miles. It has always ran well.It has your typical surface rust in two places and the front panel under the windshield has chipping paint. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR ALTHOUGH THE PICTURES LOOK GOOD THIS IS A GOOD CAMPER FOR SOMEBODY WHO IS GOING TO USE IT, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PERFECTION YOU ARE GOING TO PAY A LOT MORE(10,000 AND UP) THIS VAN IS MORE THAN WORTH THE ASKING PRICE IN PARTS ALONE THIS VAN IS 28 YEARS OLD. The engine has a few drips here and there, but nothing to keep us from being on the go. The camper interior is a 10 out of 10, according to our VW repair man. It is just been steam cleaned and has NO holes in any of the seats or cushions. The pop top canvas, with side vents, is 3 years old and when we bought it we clapped the canvas to the handles- so it has a 2 in" rip. Other than that it is PERFECT. New pop top seal and bra to protect the paint in the front. There is a small dent on the right hand side below the windshield. Kenwood CD player with aux port. We have just spent $1900.00 to get a brand new exhaust system, new brakes, and brake lines, water pump. Inspection is good until Aug. 2014. We also travel to music festivals and use the sink, stove, and fridge. It works perfect. This is an affordable camper that runs and drives great. Please look at the pictures. Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and it NOT new. I encourage that you call or stop by to look at the van. I will do my best to answer any questions.
