Vehicle Detail
1954 Ford Customline 4 Door; 57 Ford Y8 272ci; 3spd column shift. The body and chassis is in great shape given that it's 59 years old. She is being stored in the garage and has been since we bought her. When we bought it, it had not been started in about a year, the tank was still half full, yep varnished up. I did a major tune up and had it running off an external gas tank (video available via e-mail). I noticed it was burning antifreeze (Blown head gasket) so I shut it off and started buying parts to put on. The following parts have been bought and are included: Complete gasket set (minus top end gaskets which are already installed) New rods (installed) Front coil springs (2" drop) Passenger Side floor pans (front and rear) 3 Speed Transmission (extra trans) Alternator Gas Pedal 16" Mustang Rims and Tires (installed) New tail lights (lenses, rings, gaskets, sockets, bulbs) installed Headlight gaskets & sockets (installed) Complete wire harness from Rebel Wire (60% installed) Oil gauge Voltometer Speedometer, odometer dome (one in pictures is the old one) Engine bay has been rattle can painted Starter solenoid (installed) Points, plugs, wires Spark Plug brackets, bushings 17gal Fuel Cell & mounting hardware (used) (planned on using this instead of a new tank) The seats are currently out of the car, wrapped in bubblewrap and inside mattress bags. Foam is good as is the vinyl on them. Hood is currently off for ease of working on the engine We do have the title for the car, it has been signed but never transferred over. Mileage is unknown. The brakes have not been through and was assuming that they will need to be redone We would love to finish it out and have 90% of the parts to go on it, but not the time to do so. There is a reserve, but trust me it isn't much. This is also listed on a local site, we reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
