Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my Extremely Rare 1960 Edsel Villager 6 passenger wagon. One of 216 ever produced! I had big plans to restore this very rare classic wagon but unfortunately have run out of time and money. This wagon is 100% complete and has been completely stripped down to bare metal in order to send over to paint. The wagon has rust, but I have all the extra parts to fix the panels, including an entire spare ROOF, Villager tailgate, 3 back windows, and spare tail lights, grill, and even spare glass and trim. I have everything needed to completely redo the wagon the right way. These are the rarest of all wagons, and when finished are an amazing looking wagon. These are basically 1960 Ford wagons but with different front and rear but extremely rare!! This is a running project, it still has the original Ford 352 with 4 Barrel carb...power steering and brakes. All new brakes front and back. The Edsel also has the extremely rare spinner hubcaps and hooded driver mirror. The interior is also 100% complete, with a second set of spare immaculate door panels. The front seats are out of a later 60's Galaxie but also have the original front seats with the Edsel "E" embossed to match the rear. The interior will need to be redone as well, but it is 100% complete! The wagon has good solid floors but like stated above, does have rust issues but i have added pictures below of all the temporary fiber glass repaired spots as well as all the extra parts to fix it right. You are welcome to come and see the car for yourself...bare metal hides nothing! When I purchased the car it came with a second 1960 Villager parts car, it was fire bombed in the LA riots so it was your basic shell. I was able to remove a ton of extra parts from the car, like an extra front complete grill, tailgate, ALL the stainless trim and badges, complete rear quarter panel and tail light sections various misc items. You are getting it all, including a second 352 engine core. You will have everything needed to fully restore this rare wagon. Make me a fair offer and it can be yours. Thanks GLASS: The glass is all there, the rear quarter windows are in perfect condition, as well as the front windshield. The side door glass is all there but some will need replacing due to small cracks. I have spare glass for you to make patterns MOTOR Original Ford 352 FE Motor with 4 Barrel Carb. I have not had a chance to drive it around but it does move on its own accord and seems to be in need of a tune up.... Transmission: Original Automatic tranny, just like the motor it seems to be operational but will most likely need to be gone through in order for it to be a daily driver... Wheels and Tires: The wagon sits on its original Bi Ply white wall tires with the original rims which have the very rare Spinner Edsel caps, those alone are worth some money! I also have a spare of regular Edsel dog dish caps in case you want to preserve the Spinners:) Body & Paint The wagon was originally seafoam green color, and it had the original paint when I got it, along with all the stainless trim. Car was and still is 100% complete and very straight. The body does suffer from some rust issues that were very typical in this model year. Rust in some of the rain gutters, rear tailgate area and barn door glass door. There is also some rust in the front hood and front fenders. I have collected all the parts to fix most of the rust issues. I have a spare roof, tailgate, glass door, front fender, hood, and recently replaced all four doors with RUST FREE Arizona doors. I used fiber glass to temporarily repair some of the rust holes as I was planning on driving it in bare metal till I could afford to paint it. I also treated all the rusty areas so to neutralize the rust before applying the fiber glass Interior: The interior is all there and will need to be redone. I have the original front seat as well as the newer seat in the front. I also have a complete set of spare original door panels that are in amazing shape. If you are reading this ad its because you know how rare these wagons are, I wish I could keep it and finish it but I just cannot. The wagon is in bare metal so you are welcome to come see it before you buy it as there is nothing to hide...you can call me if you have any questions or would like to discuss an offer or TRADE.... 949-633-6251 The pictures below show the car as I got it about a year ago...its shows the gradual progression of the deconstruction, down to bare metal. The car currently is in BARE METAL like the last pictures below. Car is Oceanside CA, Northern San Diego County...come on by if you are local and are serious about the car.
