1978 Honda CB750A Hondamatic, wheelchair sidecar, custom built complete unit. Was custom made for a disabled man 30 years ago. Hondamatics have no clutch, just Hi and Low range, no gears to shift. This one has a hand shift lever on the left side of the chair area, a lever on the right side to lower/lift the ramp gate, and hand hyd/disc brakes on the sidecar wheel and front wheel (works both) along with the extended lever for hand operation on the rear brake. Otherwise, everything has been just moved over via linkages to the chair area. Was repainted and gone though about 3 years ago, carbs cleaned, points replaced, battery, etc, and was running riding good...has been in storage ever since, and needs it all done again. Does not run...it cranks over fine, and there is nothing wrong with the motor/trans, just needs gone through again. Paint has some bubbles now, and some stains from storage. Seat was recovered also, still in good shape, pipes are rusted at the joints. I did replace the ignition switch with a new one recently, but do not have a seat latch key for the bike...gas door can be opened with any key. Rear tire was brand new last month...but the tube inside must be bad, it goes flat, rest of the tires look great, but are old and dry I'm sure. Brakes work. Sidecar has it's own suspension (dual shock) and is mounted very securely, much heavier than the new style mounting. She needs TLC, but all there (minus sidecovers) . Clear WI title.
