Vehicle Detail

1973 Ford Gran Torino, original 302, Automatic, ORIGINAL PAINT!!! NO RUST!!! California Car. Original Blue CA PLATES! Reg is all current and I have a CLEAN title in hand. This is a true Survivor Gran Torino. I am assuming the 48000 miles on the odometer are 148,000 but I am not sure. The Body is in great condition for 148000 miles. Unknown if the Engine was ever rebuilt but it runs great and starts up every time. You can drive anywhere. Now for the new goodies... This car has tons of new parts. Here is the list: ENGINE: - new belts and hoses - new coolant bottle - new Edelbrock 1406 4 bbl Elec choke carb and Edelbrock intake - new valve cover gaskets - new exhaust manifold reusable aluminum gaskets - valve covers repainted stock Ford blue - chrome air cleaner (original air cleaner is available as well) - new battery hold down and battery tray - fresh oil and filter change - new Motorcraft plugs and wires - new Motorcraft distributor cap INTERIOR: - new carpet kit (original ginger color) - new headliner (original ginger color) EXTERIOR: -new vinyl top (original white) - new rear tires (50 miles on them) BRAKES: - all new brakes all the way around with new calipers, rotors, pads, hoses, shoes, and even a new master cylinder over $1200 with receipts to show for the brake job EXHAUST: - new dual exhaust with chrome classic pencil tips and glasspacks. The exhaust sounds great, not too loud at all. Great old school sound. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things. I really treated this car well and it gets a lot of looks as these are very rare. This is my grocery getter on Sundays and really enjoy driving it. If its not in the garage, its covered with a thick cover outside. I wish we didn't have to sell, but some bills came up and we need to part with it. The car does need a few small things. The car has a few door dings and scratches. The dash has a crack on the passenger side. Its 40 years old.. It needs a new driver side outer door lock. The original one seems worn and doesnt stay in locked position with key. The passenger side window wont roll down very far. It may just need a new manual regulator. There is a small crack in the windshield that was a rock chip but continues to spread. The original radio doesn't work and needs to be replaced. The glove box latch may need replacement as the glove box door sags a bit and the there is a rip in the bottom cushion of the driver's seat. Seems just worn from getting in and out over the years. Feel free to contact me with any questions. If you need to have the car shipped, buyer pays for shipping. Funds must be Cash if in person, Bank check, or PayPal. Buyer must contact me and set up a phone call prior to release of vehicle. Thank you and happy bidding.
