Vehicle Detail
This project was just completed in the month of July, after a six month process. Rebuilt 351 V8 The engine is a powerful, strong running rebuilt 351 Windsor. Engine has recent dual exhaust with full tail pipes out the rear, 2 barrel carb, replaced fuel pump, cast iron exhaust manifolds, and includes a factory Bronco air cleaner assembly. There is a small storage/tool box under the hood. It has been a lot of fun to drive. 4 speed trans Transmission has been upgraded to a four speed with floor shift, top loader. Clutch feels great. Dana 20 transfer case with 9" in rear and the optional 4.11 differential gearing Has rear mounted tow hitch. New Paint Fresh urethane paint job in a factory Ford Bronco color (Bay Blue metallic). The body shop did a thorough job, all trim was removed, top was removed and repainted separately inside and outside, windshield was removed, complete doors, hood, tailgate were all removed. The complete interior was painted blue from the tailgate to the bedsides to the door jambs, dash, under hood, and cowl. Grill painted in silver. Roll bar painted blue as well. Fender flares were added at all four corners and were painted blue and installed with new hardware & weatherstripping. Windshield was pulled and was reinstalled with new weatherstrip seal. Drivers side door glass was replaced new. Hood latch was replaced new, front red/chrome grille letters new, new headlight chrome rings, halogen headlamps, new turn signal lenses in front, new turn signal lenses in rear. New red/white/chrome "351" fender badges. New driver door chrome mirror. New fuel caps. New chrome rear bumper, new chrome front bumper. New chrome ignition bezel. New 31x10.50x15" Falken Radial Tires mounted on a gorgeous new set of extremely rare SLT slotted aluminum 10x15" mags, with new lug nuts & center caps, all fully balanced. Suspension has dual shock mounts in front (single shocks now). Suspension is stock height, for a smooth factory ride. New interior The beautiful new interior looks very classy with brand new carpet going from the tailgate all the way to the front kick panels. Custom high back bucket seats (with added support for safety) were installed and reupholstered, to mimic a factory look. They were done in a nice white/ parchment color with rosette centers. Upholstery feels comfortable and is a good material that feels like it will last. Door panels in front were made new to match and have new armrests and new door cups. Rear side interior panels were made new, and adorn the bed sides. All new rear seat upholstery with reupholstered armrests. The color goes well with the fresh white paint on the inside of the hardtop, looks bright and inviting. New black and chrome door straps. Factory black dash pad in good shape with only one small hole. Windows roll up and down with ease. New seat belts will be installed front and rear for new owner. Headlights, taillights in working order along with wiper motor, heater fan, and gauges. (wiper blades/arms will be installed this week and go with the bronco) Interior, paint, and chrome have less than 10 miles on them at time of photos. This custom Bronco will definitely get you attention, wherever you go. The reserve is priced quite a bit lower than you would expect, given that the average one in this condition seems to be around 30-35,000.00. Bid early and bid to win.
