1979 Honda CB 750-K 10th Anniversary Edition in excellent unrestored condition.This bike is one of only 5,000 made for the US. It runs and drives great although it has not been registered in 3 years and there is an almost imperceptable hesition slightly above idle. With a good carburetor cleaning, or a couple tanks of gas run through it, that would be resolved. The original pipes were replaced with aftermarket pipes. They are not overly loud but definately give it a " bite " that REALLY sounds great! It is NOT a museum piece! It will need a little attention/TLC/ So what things does it need? 1) The Right rear signal light works fine but was broken one day backing it out of the garage 2) The carburetors should probably be cleaned for good measure 3) There is a T I N Y dent in the rear of gas tank that can be seen in the photos 4) There are 2 stickers on the front of the gas tank that have been on the bike for 8 years. I did not attempt to pull them off as it may pull paint with it after being on for so long. The owner of the bike said he put them on when he got it because there were a few tiny chips in the paint and this was to keep from getting more chips. Hey... - Redneck chip guard! The good!! 1) This bike looks ABSOLUTELY amazing!! 2) It has spent it's entire existence in a garage with a cover on it. 3) It has always received oil changes and routine maintenance etc. 4) Starts EVERY time with a slight touch of the starter button. 5) has all of it's original components,... seat, lighting, handlebars etc. etc. 6) Look at the wheels! There is NO corrosion on the rims! 7) This bike was not dolled up or even waxed before the photo's were taken. I would have to say it looks even BETTER in person!! These bikes are becoming extremely scarce in ANY condition. This one is in great looking and running condition, and with not much effort can be a show bike,. ... get on it and ride and turn heads everywhere you go ABSOLUTELY N O SHIPPING !! Phone number is 315 . 560 . 3506 PLEASE NOTE - UPDATE: Today I started the 750 to show a customer and there was a problem it has not had before. Two cylinders have lost spark number 1 & 4. I am not sure what has happened, and for some reason the horn stopped working. Due to these things I have made a " price adjustment" as you will probably want to use an aftermarket ignition system such as a Dyna Tech. They are easy to install and not expensive ( around $250 for ignition and high output coils. )
