This 1974 Honda is a rare early Civic that was in the process of being converted to an electric car before the enthusiasm ran out. Donated to a local charity and for sale on their behalf, this car needs either a competent electric car technician to finish what was started, or a competent Honda Mechanic to bring it back to normal. Originally brown, this car has a very cheap red repaint which managed to coat the door and window rubber, as well as most visible chassis components. The left rear window has several scratches in it and all hood vents have been haphazardly sealed. Inside, the dash has had the tachometer as well as the heater components removed (included) and the seat have tacky seat covers installed. (seat condition is shown in the pictures) Mechanically, the engine has been replaced by an electric motor, and all wiring as well as the battery carriers appear to be installed. The transmission is still in place, but the brake master cylinder has been relocated and replaced by a clutch master cylinder for some reason. The gas tank has been removed and additional battery platforms have been created in the trunk area. On the bright side... the tires look virtually NEW. A neat project if you understand the conversion, or a rust free California shell for an early Civic restorer. Comes with many spares to complete the conversion. Batteries not included. No Reserve!
