Vehicle Detail
This is a 1967 ford mustang. The 289 engine was installed two summers ago. It was taken from a 66 mustang that had 29,000 original miles on the odometer when wrapped around a tree. before the engine was installed, a new timing chain was installed, plus the high volume oil pump. also installed new were starter solenoid, voltage regulator, battery, distributor cap, wires and plugs, valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, header gaskets, radiator, fan shroud, transmission gasket and filter. inside lower door panel grills were also installed. seat belts have been installed.this car has a decent paint job that was applied by the previous owner.it has air shocks, and good tires. the rear has 5 lug, and the front is the original 4 lug. no air or power steering. the car is driven frequently, and kept in the garage. thanks for looking. the car is for sale locally, and could end early if purchased locally. On Jul-19-13 at 18:56:13 PDT, seller added the following information: the mileage of the car is not 9999. but it wont let me change it. the odometer shows 50,000. the motor was installed with 29000 on it. but as we know, this car has rolled over. i meant to put 99,999 since i really dont know the actual mileage on the car. thanks. On Jul-22-13 at 18:00:28 PDT, seller added the following information: was able to go over and take pictures of the under side of the car today since we have had several people asking about it. the frame rails are in great shape. the previous owner had done some floor patching. i should have taken a picture of the open trunk, but wasnt thinking. the trunk is in great shape and the majority of the trunk is the gas tank which is new. the transmission shifts perfect and runs smooth. it never leaked until he changed the gasket and filter. i think the gasket has been over tightened. the car drives and runs awesome. thanks for looking.
