UP FOR BID: 2003 Honda GL1800 Goldwing. After owning several GL1500 Goldwings through the years and recovering from hip replacement surgery, I found this GL1800 at a Honda dealer in Phoenix, rode it a few miles, felt great, so I bought it. The dealer took in on trade from a 70 year old man who bought it new. They put on new tires, brake pads all around and changed fluids (at 150,000 miles). After taking several long trips on it with my wife, we discovered we just aren't up to it anymore. It's a great bike, it's just not for us. The previous owner added CB radio, grip warmers, a voltmeter, road lights, trunk rack, rider floorboards, trailer hitch, extra running lights on the trunk, and mirrors with built in turn signals. He also had an aftermarket seat, so the stock seat back on the bike now is in great shape. All systems work as they should except the audio "Mute" switch on the left handlebar switch cluster does not come out after being pushed in (broken spring inside?) and there is some paint fade on the mirror tops, front fender, windshield garnish, spoiler, right saddlebag top, and fuel door. The clear coat on the right valve cover is peeling. The heal-toe shifter evidently broke has been welded. This bike has been well taken care of, runs great and will give someone many more miles of riding enjoyment.
