Selling my restored all original 1963 Buick Skylark convertible following death of my wife to start new part of life. This fine automobile has been a 2 1/2 year project where I have spent almost $20,000 to return to factory original car. This is a very rare combination of sport and luxury with factory high performance V-8 and 4 speed with factory air conditioning in a convertible. The only alteration from original car can be corrected in an hour and the parts are included. The are a new AM-FM stereo has been hidden inside the original case and the knobs and push buttons work like original AM radio. There are four Bose speakers installed two under the seats and two in place of front dash 6x9 am speaker with not a piece of interior altered in any way. You note the Buick wood steering wheel, but you have the complete factory wheel with horn in the trunk. There is a tachometer strapped around the steering column mounted with rubber so no paint damage. All other parts and accessories are factory original and restored to original working condition As the pictures show the body is restored to rust free (no bondo) original condition, all the chrome and stainless steel trim is there and reconditioned and the car even has original T-3 headlights. The interior is reproduced original interior seats, carpet, door panels, arm rests and power convertible top with zip in rear glass. Interior even has NOS clutch and brake pedal in match saddle color. All the rubber parts around doors, windows top, trunk and hood are new reproduction to provide tight seal and good looks. The car even has the body color plastic inner fender covers in front of the doors. Mechanically the car has every feature as installed at the factory and in good working order. For instance it has a Delco 12 tar top battery, original factory Frigidaire rebuilt air conditioning compressor to name a few items. The engine and transmission is totally rebuilt, the drive shaft and rear end reconditioned along with radiator. The original starter, alternator (first year) and all electrical components were rebuilt too. New brakes, shocks, tires (5 NOS Firestone tires) on the car. I could spend hours describing the other details of the car and how they were brought back to good original working conditions, but I will let you ask any other details you might want to know. The car was rebuild as my driver and has been to many local show since completed the week after my wife died in January 2013, so it is not a 100 point show car (but not far from it either).
