Up for sale is my 1999 Jaguar Xj8 Vanden Plas. Overall the car is in good condition. Purchased vehicle with the hopes of fixing it up for a daily driver, but plans have changed and its time to sell. Main problem with this Jag is the engine. The engine does run (and revs up fine - see pictures), but there is a check engine light and it does have quite a lot of blow by. I have drove this car around town, but was going to properly fix it before going on the open road. A/C blows cold and heater works good as well. Everything underneath the car is tight and there are no oil leaks. Was told by previous owner that transmission was replaced by Jaguar in California around 6,000 miles ago but cannot confirm. The transmission shifts very nice all the way to red line. Car was in a low speed accident (front) at 43,572 miles, but there was no frame damage and all parts were replaced by a Jaguar dealer (also told by previous owner, cannot confirm). Will include another set of Jaguar wheels(chrome is peeling) with winter tires . Comes with all Jaguar books and original floor mats. Other small things wrong:Stability Control Light on (was told an ABS sensor was at fault).Cup holder between front seats is broken (common problem with the X308 Jags, easy fix)Right Fog light not working (bulb needs changed, will include)Driver window will not go down (Can hear limit switch when trying to go up, so window switch will need changed)Antenna is missing (not sure why, but was missing when I bought the car, radio still gets reception) Summer tires will need changed (car sat for two years, so tires are flat spotted)Air intake tube will need changed. (old one broke and when I ordered one off ebay, it was for an earlier xj8. It fits and seals but one bolt hole does not line up.)PCV tube will need changed.(old one was cracked and leaking oil. Currently have a rubber hose in its place.)Seats are in OK shape.(small cut on drivers seat and normal wear and tear) Please feel free to email with any requests for additional pictures or information.
