This car was bought from the original owner's estate. Last time it was registered was 1982. Sold as a 41,9?? original miles car. This car is in beautiful condition for being 45 yrs old. It has the 429 Thunderjet Engine, 360hp stock, c6 trans, & axle 280:1. It is a 4 door with suicide doors and hide away headlights. Even though it has been sitting longer than 1982 the Estate changed the oil once a year. It has a new gas tank, carb, radiator, & thermostat. All fluids have been changed recently. It runs very good and drives straight. It starts real easy with no knocks, sounds nice and tight. Runs smooth and looks great inside and out. The car could use some TLC to be an everyday driver, or perfect for full restoration. The car is being sold "as is". The code numbers are:Body 57B Color X Trim 8A Date 07B DSO 72 Axle 3 Trans U Body: Rust free except for surface rust under the vinyl top. Will need a new vinyl top.All original glass and hubcaps with the T-Bird emblems. Has been repainted for sure on passengers side, maybe the whole car, not sure. It has 1 run in the paint and the paints chipped on drivers door. Possible body work was done but don't know for sure. It has a couple of dings but hard to see. The body is good and straight. Exterior: Chip in front windshield Missing 3 pcs. of chrome: 2 pcs. rear corner drivers side quarter, 1 pc. passenger side below doors Driver side piece of chrome behind rear wheel is in the trunk Interior: 3 out of 4 indicators missing on the headliner Dash has 2 little fine cracks, that are hard to see and easy to fix Missing screws for ashtray Driver seat outside boxing has 2 holes from wear Passenger seat has 1 small hole in middle insert and some wear marks Front door panel armrests are a little warped Missing door straps on rear inside door panels 1 scratch and some wear marks on back seat Engine: Missing fan shroud, battery hold down bracket, & 2 insulation pads for under hood. Trunk: Missing spare tire, jack, & 1 pc.of quarter panel carpet on driver side Missing the cover for taillight assembly, if they made one Electrical: Electrical contacts need to cleaned.
