I am selling my 06 V-Strom 650. I am the second owner, I bought in 2008 with about 1,500 miles. It now has about 13,400, which may change as I ride it to work. I do all of my own maintenance and change the oil every 1500-2000 miles. The bike has a lot of accessories that I have added, which I will list. The bike is in very good condition, I would ride this bike cross country anytime the way it sits right now, which I have already done. Mechanically, it's in excellent condition, I have never had any problems with this bike, it's always been reliable, not one glitch. It has the normal wear and tear you would expect. The accessories I've added we're to make the bike more comfortable and durable. They are: -Caribou cases ( lockable and waterproof) -Hated grips -Givi top case -Givi crash bars -Givi windshield -Madstad windshield mount (adjustable) -Bashplate with highway pegs -Center stand -Sargent seat -Bar risers -Hand guards -Continental TKC tires( rear is almost ready to be replaced) The tires have about 5000 miles on them, rear should be replaced. I also have the original tires that came on the bike. The only fault I had is I accidentally backed my law mower into it about 3 years ago and knocked it over. The only thing it did was scraped a crash bar and cracked a front turn signal light which I taped , but never replaced. ( see pics). Which shows how much more durable the accessories have made it! I know all the accessories add up to ALOT of money, and you dont get that back, but instead of selling them all separate, I think the bike is set up perfect so I am selling that way. Selling because I am starting a new project with my son and could use the money towards that.
