Vehicle Detail

Cheney “Works” Triumph 750cc Eric Cheney (Wikipedia - "was known as one of the best motorcycle frame designers of the era" / " Steve McQueen, an experienced off road rider who represented the United States in the ISDT bought a number of Cheney's motorcycles at full price because he considered them better than other makes') assembled this bike in 1993 as a “Works” bike to be used in the US. The bike has not been raced since 2001. It needs a little restoration as been in storage since then; alloy and nickel will shine up like new. It would be very easy to make it look like it former glory. The engine was freshened up for the 2001 season; it did only one race and has not been used since. Gearbox works fine but needs clutch work (maybe missing primary chain, clutch plates, cable and pressure plate). The engine barks into life now but cannot be ridden because of work needed to clutch; plus not fully assembled as it should be to used. Bike won numerous shows and races in it day.
