Listed here is a 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood project, restore or parts car with 86,036 original miles. I just recently purchased this car as a package deal but sadly one must go. This car and one other were parked 35 years ago into a garage and never moved. A family needed to settle their estate and sold both to me. I found the Cadillac just as you see in the photos provided with all the original paperwork. My first step was to register it and clear up its 35 year old paperwork giving it a transferable registration. I then filled up all the existing tires and towed it back to my home in Merrick, NY. A new battery was installed, flushed out the fuel system and had keys made. Replaced starter, brake master cylinder, new plugs and in line fuel filter. I flushed out the radiator, engine block and also replaced two freeze-out plugs. The engine fired right up and runs great, nice and tight except for the engine air pump making some noises. Charging system works great and all of the cars electrical and mechanical systems work as they should. The original tires hold air and presently it has rear snow tires on it with regular tires in the trunk. The factory hub caps are on it minus one but it may be in the trunk. The interior is dark blue that is perfect with no rips tears anywhere including dash, door panels and head liner but will need a good cleaning. All the glass is good except the front windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. Car has drum brakes all around and stops good but I haven’t looked at one wheel. The body is painted gray with surface rust scattered about my guess is from critters urinating on it (The garage was dry). There is nothing rotted through and the same falls true for the under carriage (There is a small rot crack above each rear wheel well). All panels are straight except a minor dent here or there with no body filler. I drove the car around the block and drove fine, didn’t want to chance it with the tires. Had a key made for the glove box but it won’t open the trunk so anything in there is yours (I did take out the rear seat to see in and could see the rear street tires, spare, jack, and a card board box).
