Documented 3 owner truck from new - 2nd owner had since 1980s- 22yrs A true survivor Ultra Rare factory SWB Shortbed K10 4X4 - low option GMC Power steering/brakes Never a work truck, as evident from bed and underbody. No towing-no hitch receiver ever installed. Driven,Registered and inspected always. Never parked. Usual Chevy rust spots, but all cosmetic. All structure-cab mounts, bed, floor areas, frame are nice (see pics). The beauty is, there are no collisions, bondo or cheap paint jobs, just the factory panels. Ideal for easy resto or enjoy as it is. Doors open and close like new, no door sag. It is completely original and has never been taken apart in anyway. Everything from the Original paint,working Delco AM FM radio,to the U joints, shocks, cat converter,to the original drivetrain, it is the same as it was in 1983. Everything works as it should, including the 4WD with no noises. The truck has a brand new battery, and just completed a 300 mi trip with no issues whatsoever. The original 305 fires right up, idles smooth with no smoke (just a puff from valveseals at startup). Runs cool. It burns no oil at all! Never been out of truck. It pulls like a new 305, but does have a valvetrain/ lifter tick, to be expected. There is also typical rear main oil seal drip after long park, but nothing that effects driveablilty at all. These old 2 piece seals leaked a bit from new, and the 2nd owner said that it has always left a few spots. The trans was rebuilt sometime ago, and shifts perfect. It tracks straight and has very little play - almost like new. The 31" tires are good. Windshield cracked..it is the GM original. Front and rear diff quiet, no noises or whines. Brakes are excellent. What a great truck that I planned on keeping forever and retuning it back to showroom original condition. Unfortunately I must sell.
