Welcome up for auction is a pristine 2000 BMW 740il. This is the fourth 740il I have owned fixed up and sold over the last 3 years. These vehicles are magnificent and an awesome car to drive. They get a surprising 23 MPG in the city if you drive the vehicle respectfully. I am the 3rd owner and have all service records from 2000. This car has been meticulously maintained and all work done by an authorized BMW mechanic. This car has never been in a wreck and I have the title free and clear. I buy these cars to fix up and send on to the next owner. When I got this vehicle like I said it was in great condition and only had to replace a few parts. The work I have had done since in my possession: replaced the 2 BMW badges front and rear, I replaced 2 speakers that were blown (that's how awesome the stereo systems are in theses cars), 2 tan rear ash trays were broken never smoked in so I replaced them with 750il burl wood ash trays which gives it a more sophisticated look, replaced the fog lights as they were broken from road rocks, replaced the 2 front kidney chrome grills as one had a split in it, did a complete tune up with the replacement of spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, and gas filter, replaced old battery, replaced all oils and fluids with new, replaced ABS speed sensor-s, replaced ABS sensor-n, replaced camshaft sensor bank 1, and finally replaced A/C belt and the main serpentine belt. All functions in vehicle work properly and maintain all pixels in all computer displays. The interior is in wonderful condition with no rips or tears in leather seats front and back, I have added a pair of BMW black floor matts as a nice contrast to the tan interior. I have also purchased another laser cut KEY which you have to order from an authorized BMW dealership by showing your title to the vehicle and cost $240.00. The vehicle passed the California smog test. Tires are in great condition with about 50% tread left on tires. The A/C blows nice and cold, ready for the summer ahead. The car has a low 159000 miles and is just now breaking in for these types of vehicles, the owners manual suggest that the oil to be replaced every 10,000 miles which most vehicle suggest half those miles. I would conservatively rate this vehicle at an 8.5 out of 10 as the car is 13 years old and does have a few small nicks from normal road driving but nothing major.
