1988 Corvette Road Track Car - Race-Ready! For sale is my 1988 Corvette Race Car / Road Track Car. This is a race-ready, reliable car that I have owned since April of 2011. My only reason for selling is that I’m upgrading to a C-6 track car. The high torque motor makes an excellent car for road courses or autocross. Specifications are listed below. Completely rebuilt L-98 roller motor bored 0.040 with new GM ZZ3 cam, L98 aluminum heads, 3-piece under drive pulley kit, MSD and EMS Pro Engine Management System, new alternator and starter, ceramic coated TPIS 1 ¾” headers, random high flow convertor, and Corsa stainless steel cat-back exhaust. r Transmission: ZF 6-speed blue tag with a B&M Ripper Shifter. r Single mass flywheel; Stage 2 clutch disk with a high copper content. r Wheels: ZR-1 style in black. Front - 17 x 9.5; Rear - 17 x 11. r Tires: Hoosier R6 with three track days of wear. Front - 275/40ZR17; Rear - 315/35ZR17. r Interior: Ø 6 PT 1 ¾” .120 DOM roll cage built by Moss Racing. Ø Sparco Evo racing seats with G-Force Pro 5 PT Camlock harnesses. Ø Dash has new Vette Aid Autometer instrument cluster with electronic analog gauges. r Rear End: Rebuilt June 2005 - 3:73 gears (14k miles). r Suspension: Full poly bushing kit, lowering kit with blocks and bolts. r Brakes: Drilled TPIS rotors, Hawk pads, braided stainless brake lines.r Recent Upgrades: New injectors; new high performance radiator; new power steering pump (with cooler); new racing shocks.
