I'm selling my 1998 corvette with 143k on the body . It has been modified from head to toe!!! Lets start with the biggest thing ... It's supercharged!! The car has magnacharger mp112 ($6610) under the hood. The whole motor was gone over and rebuilt about 20k ago. The car has a aftermarket blower cam installed and a set of #317 heads. The reason people put #317 heads on a supercharged car is cause they are 72cc instead of the factory 63cc heads. This lowers the motor compression for more boost. The car breathes thru long tube headers and a gm titanium exhaust from a zo6. And a twin filter intake. The car keeps cool threw a Ron Davis race radiator with built in oil cooler ($970). The car is also has a methanol injection kit to keep the car cool if you deside to run high boost but this cars only got the stock pulley on the supercharger so it only boosts 6psi. The car still made 503hpTo the rear wheels( have dyno sheet). The car has a modified t56 trans in it with a short throw shifter and a exedy twin disc clutch ($1800). The cars got a fully modified suspension. It's lowered 1.5 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear. It has t1 sway bars on it just like the c5r. I was told by the previous owner it has the full c5r t1 suspension on it ($4000) but I can't verify that but the sway bars I can see and tell. The car also has a 4 point roll bar to keep the body from flexing on hard curves. . The whole car is set up for street/road race. The car has all the performance and is a blast to drive but it also has style. The car has a cavaggio cowl hood ( just enough to clear magnacharger ( ($1350) . All the lights have been professionally tinted and the cars fitted with a set of chrome zo6 wheels ( tires are in very good shape ) the cars also got all the gauges to keep a eye on everything ( boost , fuel , shiftlight ) the car also has a awesome sounding radio. The head unit is a pioneer avic-d3 with navigation and a built in hard drive ($1400). The speakers in the car have all been changed and there's a 12" mtx sub sunk inThe ground that's powered by a Rockford fosgate amp.this car is a real head turner that sounds awesome and looks it too but the best part of this car is driving it it is so fun to drive and extremely fast. This is my daily driver for the summer but it has to go due to my fiancée and I having a baby.the car does have a few flaws here and there since its a 98 and has miles on the body but all typical stuff for a c5 like the seat boasters are starting to rip. the car was keyed once and repainted but its never been in a accident.
