The original owner purchased this van in 1977 and took it straight to the custom shop and had everything done to it that you see in the pictures. Moulded in fender flares, running boards and front spoiler. Custom square tube grille and quad rectangular headlights. A top-notch job done on the whole van. The basic color is the factory Mopar bronze color. The murals and graphics are candy colors over gold. Murals are hand-airbrushed by a top pro in 1978. The body is in amazing condition with no dings or dents anywhere. The paint is, for the most part, in excellent condition. There are a few nicks on some edges (flares/running boards) but nothing serious. The paint, including the murals and graphics is still bright with no fading. Bumper and grille chrome is excellent with no fading or rust. The interior is 100% factory original and unchanged since the van was new out of the dealer. I did add some items though, and all of them are vintage 60's or 70's! No new garbage! I added the bronze ship wall-hanging (now hung next to the porthole behind the driver's seat). I also added the portholes to the interior on both sides. One shot shows the porthole closed and one shows it open. They open up to the original round bubble window. The reason you can't see outside in the "open" pic, is that I had the cover on the van. Once you open the portholes, you can see outside. I added 2 antique lanterns and the goldfish wall hangings. I also added the net, metal anchor and chain. Also a real brass ship's throttle which now sits on the beverage tray on the doghouse. The interior is in excellent condition! The bed folds up into a couch (or vice-versa) and the table can be located in 2 places. The sunroof operates perfectly and there are no leaks at all, anywhere. The interior smells new with no "old" mildew smell or anything funky. No smoke smell either. The van runs and drives absolutely flawlessly! Steering is tight and the brakes work very very well. Transmission shifts like new. There are 77,600 miles on the van, although it looks like far less considering the condition of it. Everything on the van operates as it should except for the rear interior lights. Don't pass up the opportunity to own a time-capsule of an original 70's custom van, straight out of vanning's heyday. These original builds are very scarce now! I simply have too many vehicles or I would keep this beauty. I know a very reliable and inexpensive shipper in case you need one.
